One-way travel insurance from Total Travel Protection is designed to cover those who are either emigrating or staying abroad for a long period of time, for example visiting family or friends for a number of months.

Our one-way travel insurance will provide travel insurance cover for your outbound journey and the first part of your stay abroad, anything from 1 day to 31 days.

This gives you the reassurance that you have emergency medical cover in place whilst you are travelling and for the start of your stay (up to 31 days), giving you time to arrange alternative cover in your destination country, for instance registering with Medicare in Australia, or arranging private healthcare in the US.

To be eligible for our one-way travel insurance you must start the cover on the day you depart the UK.
